Friendly match at The British Club

On Thursday Finnish team played a friendly match at the British Club in Singapore. The British Club had been closed for 3 months due to renovation work. The Club got brand new bar and restaurant as well as a gym and massage. Also some maintenance work was done for the squash courts. Renewed club offered an excellent environment for a friendly matches between the British Club and Finnish team.

After math
Finnish team had adapted to the new time zone amazingly well, especially if previous day’s long hours were taken into account. Maybe the most interesting game was between Hannu who is still recovering from the flu and Claire who is 3/4 seeded in W4044 in the World Masters. Players who finished their match first had an opportunity to have a massage before the dinner. Chicken curry was enjoyed together with recovering sports drinks. This time there was no after games as everyone went to sleep early
